The Winter Wildcat Rogaine

General Information
What? The Winter Wildcat Rogaine is a 10 hour map and compass foot-only navigation event. Participants will go out and look for checkpoints in the forest for the allotted time. Solos or teams (any size) are welcome. No GPSes are allowed - only map and compass.
Where? The event will be held at the Cave Mountain Lake Pavilion near Natural Bridge, VA.
When? The event is Saturday, 9 Feb 2019.
Check-in will be from 7am-8am on Saturday morning. Race start will be around 8am, and you have 10 hours (until 6pm) to return to the finish line.
How Much? It is $75 per person to come play with us.
What's Included? Your fee gets you a pre-plotted map, branded apparel (or similar gift), and tons of food during (and after) the event.
People who register after January 15th won't get any branded apparel.
Who? The world's top navigators!
Why? Camaraderie and fun!
Mandatory Gear Not too much to carry - just some safety items.
