| What? |
The Blacsksburg Adventure Skills Hullabaloo (BASH) is part race, part skills practice, and part just hanging out adventuring.
Maps will go out Friday. There will be up to 50 miles of single track mountain biking on Saturday, followed by up to 4 hours of foot orienteering.
Sunday will be all about paddling: a race, some skills practice, maybe playing on our electric foil, and a lakeside picnic.

| Where? |
The event will be held in the area around Blacksburg, VA.
|
| When? |
The Hullabaloo is the weekend of August 14-16, 2026.
|
| How Much? |
No registration fee, but $25 per person to cover the cost of printing waterproof maps.
|
| What's Included? |
Waterproof maps, of course. And we'll have some prizes for the King and Queen Baloos in each event.
Everything else is on your own.

| Do I Need to Bring A Boat? |
No. We have a small armada of vessels that can be borrowed: 3 canoes, 3 SUPs, 3 packrafts, 2 kayaks, a rowing scull, a wind surfer, and even an electric foil.
But if it's conveninet, please bring a boat if you have one.

| Lodgings? |
Lots of hotels in Blacksburg. If you want to van/car/tent camp, the National Forest is 5 miles away. There will be limited parking at our house in Blacksburg as well.

Meals |
All meals are on your own. For Sunday, we will fire up a grill for everyone to use and cook a bunch of sides, so you just need to bring something to share - grill, side, salad, bread, etc. and something to drink.
